After beating the Boston College Eagles 59-7 at the Death Valley, the next challenge for the Clemson Tigers came in the form of the Wofford Terriers. They hosted the match at the Death Valley and won impressively with a score of 59-14.
The hosts dominated the first quarter to set the pace for them winning the match. They got three touchdowns which helped them gain a massive lead. Rodgers, Dixon, and Etienne were the scorers.
The hosts continued to dominate the game well into the second quarter. Etienne, Higgins, and Lawrence got a touchdown each to give the hosts an incredible lead. The quarter ended 42-0 as the visitors still had not scored.
The visitors got on the score-board for the first time during the third quarter. Lovelace and Vancleave scored two touchdowns for them. However, the hosts still added two more touchdowns to their lead.
