The Clemson Tigers carried their massive form with them when they traveled to face the Louisville Cardinals. In the NCAA week 8 match, the Tigers totally routed the Cardinals. The match ended in an upsetting 45-10 defeat of the home side.
The visitors were first to get on the score board through a B.T. Potter field goal from 51 yards out. That was the only scoring action from the first quarter of the game.
Joe Ngata scored a touchdown for the Tigers early into the second quarter to extend their lead. Later on, Creque scored a 28-yard field goal for the Cardinals. Ross ended the second quarter with a touchdown for the Tigers.
Travis Etienne was the only player to score during the third quarter of the game. He scored a marvelous touchdown after a 47-yard run. This put the Tigers at a pole position to win the match with a commanding lead.
The visitors got three touchdowns while the hosts only got one. Powell, Renchers, and Mellusi scored for the visitors. Hawkins scored the touchdown for the home side. Next week, the Tigers play host to the Boston College Eagles. Stay tuned to get their match highlights.
