The Los Angeles Rams Defense played a critical role in ensuring a victory over the Cardinals over the weekend. The Cardinals, who were the hosts, failed to put up a massive force and ended up losing the match terribly. The final score was 34-7 in favor of the Rams.
The Rams started the match well and even got a field goal during the early minutes. Zuerlein scored the attempt from 47 yards out. No other scoring action was available during the entire first quarter of the game.
Higbee scored a touchdown early into the second quarter. Then, Midway the same quarter, Gurley scored another touchdown. Zuerlein scored another field goal during the same quarter from 33 yards out.
The visitors continued on their impressive form during the third quarter of the game. They got two more touchdowns to extend their lead while they kept the Cardinals attackers at bay. Kupp and Rapp scored the two touchdowns.
