Three games were played on Thursday night to kick start week 13 of this season’s NFL. The Detroit Lions faced off against the Chicago Bears. The Bears were lucky to get a win to celebrate thanksgiving even though they were the away side. They got a narrow 24-20 victory.
The home side started on top form as they were able to win the first quarter. A. Robinson, however, scored the first touchdown of the match for the away side. Then Gollarday and Jones Jr. each got a touchdown to take the hosts ahead.
During the second quarter of the game both teams intensified their defenses. As such, there was little scoring action. However, team got a field goal. Prater scored for the hosts from 25 yards out and Pineiro scored for the away side from 30 yards out.
The hosts got a touchdown which allowed them to even the score-line. Horsted scored the only touchdown of the quarter. Prater scored a field goal later on for the Lions from 24 yards out.
Montgomery scored the last touchdown for the visitors which ensured that they won the game. Two other matches went down on thanksgiving day. Stay tuned to get all the updates.
