The Kansas City Chiefs overwhelmed the Oakland Raiders when they hosted them this past weekend. The Oakland Raiders were shockingly defeated 40-9 during the match. The game ensured that the Chiefs set up an impressive form as they prepare for postseason.
Williams got an early touchdown as the match started. He had caught Mahones’ pass excellently to proceed and give his team the lead in the game. There was no other scoring action during the entire first quarter.
Mahones scrambled up the left yard to score the second touchdown of the game for the Chiefs. Thornhill also scored a touchdown for the Chiefs in the same quarter after intercepting Carr’s pass.
Butker 50-yard field goal extended the Chiefs lead to 24-0. Then, McCoy scored a touchdown on the left end to push the lead to 31-0.
The Raiders got a touchdown and a field goal in the final quarter of the game. Carrier scored the touchdown for the while Carlson scored the field goal from 34 yards out. Thompson scored the final touchdown for the home side.
