The Miami Dolphins battled against the odds when they hosted the Philadelphia Eagles this past weekend. The Sunday match was one of the high-scoring games of the Thanksgiving weekend. It ended in a 37-31 victory for the Miami Dolphins.
The Eagles started the game on top form as they were able to win the first quarter. Sanders was first to score a touchdown during the early minutes of the match. Then, J. Elliott scored a scored a field goal from 48 yards out. Parker scored a touchdown for the Dolphins as the first quarter neared its end.
Elliott scored a field goal from 43 yards out in the early minutes of the second quarter. Then each of the teams got a touchdown. Sanders scored the touchdown for the Dolphins while Arcega-Whiteside scored the one for the Eagles.
Jeffery scored a touchdown for the Eagles in the early minutes of the third quarter. Then, the Dolphins got two touchdowns from Packer and Gesicki to close down the lead that the Eagles had set up.
A touchdown and field goal during the last quarter ensured that the Dolphins overpowered the Eagles and won the match. Laird scored the touchdown and Sanders the field goal from 51 yards out.
