The game ended 27-13 in favor of the New England Patriots who were the hosts. The New England Patriots started the game on a high note and the visitors were unable to muster a comeback. 

Quarter 1 

Nugent opened the scores with a field goal for the hosts after an attempt from 20 yards out. Then, after a fumble from the visiting team, the hosts extended their lead to 10-0. Before the first quarter ended, Brady threw a great pass to Edelman in the middle. Edelman then maneuvered greatly to score a touchdown. 

Quarter 2 

The Cleveland Browns were the only team who scored during the second quarter. This was through D. Harris’s touchdown. 

Quarter 3 

Seibert scored a field goal from 38 yards out early on in the third quarter to give the visitors a chance to get a comeback. However, Edelman ensured that the hosts maintained a greater lead by scoring a touchdown. 

Quarter 4

Nugent scored a field goal from 29 yards to give the hosts a final entry into the scoreline. The visitors got their final points from Seibert who converted a 27-yard attempt.
