The New York Jets registered the first win during week 6 of NFL action. They won narrowly against the Dallas Cowboys. The match ended 24-22. 

Quarter 1 

The Jets took control of the match and won the first quarter. L. Bell scored the touchdown which ensured that the Jets led during the first quarter. 

Quarter 2 

Maher scored from a 50yard attempt for the Cowboys as the second quarter started. Then the Jets registered two touchdowns to secure a massive lead. Anderson and Griffin scored the touchdowns. Before the quarter ended, the Cowboys doubled their scores after a 62-yard Maher field goal. 

Quarter 3 

The defensive action at both ends was intense during the third quarter. Both the teams tried hard to score but eventually, only the Cowboys got points from a field goal. Maher scored during an attempt from 32 yards out. 

Quarter 4 

The visitors attempted to muster a comeback during the final quarter. They got two touchdowns from Prescott and Elliot which allowed them to close the gap the hosts had established. However, Ficken’s 38-yard field goal ensured that the hosts won the match.
