The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted the Indianapolis Colts for a thrilling NFL encounter. The match from the ninth week of this season’s NFL ended in a 26-24 victory for the Steelers. The narrow win ensured that the Steelers cemented their three-game winning streak. 

Quarter 1

Both teams had a low-scoring first quarter as there were no touchdowns. The quarter ended in a 3-3 draw after successful field goals from both sides. Vinatieri first scored for the Colts from 25 yards and Boswell equalized later from 21 yards.   

Quarter 2 

Doyle scored a touchdown early into the second quarter to give the visitors a slight lead. However, Fitzpatrick made an interception soon after and scored a touchdown for the hosts. Then, the visiting team went ahead courtesy of Pascal’s touchdown. Later on, Boswell scored for the hosts from a 51-yard attempt. 

Quarter 3 

The Steelers went ahead for the first time in the match courtesy of McDonald’s touchdown. The visitors got two safety points after Villanueva recovered the ball after a fumble by the Steelers. 

Quarter 4 

Boswell scored a 33-yard field goal early in the quarter. The visitors then recovered and got back on top after Rogers touchdown. Finally, Boswell scored from 26 yards to ensure that the hosts won the match.
