The Michigan Wolverines met with the Alabama Crimson Tide for a New Year’s showdown. In the Citrus bowl game, the Alabama team had the upper hand and thrashed their Michigan counterparts 35-16.
Two touchdowns and a field goal were scored during the first quarter of the game. Jerry Jeudy scored the first touchdown for the Alabama team. Later on, Nick Eubanks equalized with a touchdown for the Wolverines. Then, Quinn Nordin scored a 36yard field goal for the Wolverines.
Quinn Nordin scored two field goals for the Wolverines during the second quarter. He got the first one from 42 yards out and the other one from 57 yards out. Najee Harris scored a touchdown for the Crimson Tide in between those two field goals.
DeVonta Smith scored a touchdown to help the Alabama team to take the lead.
The Crimson Tide got two touchdowns in the final quarter to seal their win. Miller and Harris were the scorers. The Cincinnati Bearcats and the Boston College Eagles faced off in the Birmingham bowl. Stay tuned for their match’s highlights.
