On form Michigan Wolverines visited the Illinois Fighting Illini for their week 7 NCAA clash. They extended their winning ways by defeating the hosts 25-42.
Michigan started the match on top form getting two touchdowns in the first quarter to establish dominance. Hassan and Luke each got a touchdown to take their team up by 14 points in just the first quarter.
The teams got three touchdowns during the second quarter. The hosts got one of the touchdowns while the visitors got two to extend their lead. Zach and Nick scored for the Wolverines while Josh scored for the Fighting Illini.
The hosts tried to put up a comeback during the third quarter of the match. James McCourt first scored a 50-yard field goal as the quarter started. Then, Matt Robinson made a 1-yard touchdown after receiving the ball from James McCourt’s kick.
This quarter also had three touchdowns. The hosts got one more while the visitors sealed their win with the other two touchdowns.
