Michigan played at home during week 12 of their NCAA clash after winning their last match in Maryland. The team was able to put up a spirited performance against their visitors, the Michigan State Spartans. They demolished the Spartans by beating them 44-10.
Brian Lewerke made a great pass to mark Rosenthal during the opening minutes of the match. Rosenthal caught the ball graciously and proceeded to score the first touchdown for the Spartans. The hosts never scored during the first quarter.
The hosts fought back, equalized, and overturned the lead during the second quarter. This was courtesy of two touchdowns and a field goal in the final minutes of the quarter. Hassan and Nick scored the touchdowns while Quinn Nordin scored the field goal from 28 yards out.
Each of the teams got a field goal during the third quarter of the game. Matt Coghlin scored the field goal for the Spartans from 35 yards out. Quinn scored the other on the opposite end from 49 yards out. Donovan scored a touchdown for the Wolverines to widen their lead.
Nico Collins and Cornelius Johnson each got a touchdown for the Wolverines in the final quarter. Quinn scored his last field goal of the game from 33 yards out. Indiana Hoosiers host the Wolverines for their next game. Stay tuned to get the highlights of their game.
