Two teams that have a historic rivalry in college football went against each other during week 9 of this season’s NCAA. The teams, Michigan Wolverines and Notre Dame Fighting Irish, put up an entertaining performance at Michigan stadium. The Wolverines got the better of the Fighting Irish and battered them 45-14.
Michigan scored first during the first quarter which had little scoring action. Jake Moody was the only scorer of the quarter after successfully taking a 21-yard field goal attempt.
Two touchdowns in the second quarter helped Michigan to increase their lead over the Notre Dame team. Zack Charbonnet caught the ball graciously twice after kicks by Jake Moody and proceeded to score the touchdowns.
Kmet was the first player to score for the Irish and he got a touchdown during the third quarter of the game. However, Donovan scored in the same quarter to help the hosts triple their lead over the Fighting Irish.
The hosts sealed their win with three touchdowns in the last quarter. Nico, Tru, and Mike each got a touchdown. The visitors only got one touchdown in the last quarter from Javon McKinley. Next week, the Fighting Irish go against Virginia Tech. Stay tuned for their match highlights.
