The Michigan Wolverines were once again on the road for their week 8 NCAA game. They were hosted by the Penn State Nittany Lions who appeared to be much stronger than them. The Penn State Nittany Lions won the game 28-21.
The first quarter saw both teams put up strong defenses. As such, they repelled numerous attacks from the opposite offensive sides. However, the Nittany Lions put up a spirited performance and were able to get a touchdown. Pat Freiermuth scored the touchdown which put the hosts ahead.
The hosts got two more touchdowns in the second quarter while the Wolverines got their first touchdowns of the game. Sean Clifford and KJ Hamler were the scorers for the home team. Zack Charbonnet scored for the visitors.
Zach Charbonnet was the only player to score during the entire third quarter. He got his and the Wolverine’s second touchdown of the game.
Each of the teams got their final touchdown of the game in the last quarter. KJ scored for the home side while Shea scored for the Wolverines. Stay tuned for the updates of the next Wolverines match against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
