The Minnesota Golden Gophers played against the Nebraska Cornhuskers during week 7 of the NCAA schedule. The Golden Gophers who have been on an excellent form were able to win the game. They added to their winning streak by beating the Cornhuskers 34-7.
Chris-Autman Bell scored the first touchdown of the game for the Minnesota team. He had received a great pass from Tanner Morgan to go on and get the touchdown.
The Golden Gophers doubled their lead by getting a touchdown in the second quarter. Mohamed Ibrahim scored after making a 15-yard run. Michael Lantz had initially kicked the ball which was picked up by Mohamed.
Three more touchdowns in the third quarter sealed the win for the home side. Mohamed scored first after catching the ball from Lantz’s kick. Then, Rodney also caught the ball from another Lantz kick to get a touchdown. Finally, Mohamed sealed the third quarter with another incredible touchdown.
The visiting team got their first and only touchdown of the game during the last quarter. Lane McCallum kicked the ball which was picked up by Dedrick Mills who proceeded to get the touchdown. The Cornhuskers play the Indiana Hoosiers next. Catch tuned for their match highlights in the next post.
