The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been on a run of poor form. In week 12, they hosted the Wisconsin Badgers who were keen on keeping their top ten hopes alive. The Wisconsin Badgers were able to fight it to the end and win 21-37.
Each of the two teams got a touchdown during the first quarter of the match. Dedrick Mills scored first for the Nebraska team. Then, Aron Cruikshank equalized with a touchdown on the other end zone for the Badgers.
The Badgers took advantage of the Cornhuskers’ weak defenses in the second quarter to establish a massive lead. The Badgers scored two field goals and two touchdowns while the hosts only got one touchdown. Collin Harsh scored the field goals from 24 and 31 yards. A.J. Taylor and Jonathan Taylor scored the touchdowns for the Badgers. Adrian Martinez scored the touchdown for the home team.
Each of the two teams got a touchdown in the third quarter. Jonathan Taylor scored for the Badgers while Spielman scored for the home team.
