The Ohio State Buckeyes looked to continue winning when they traveled to play the Northwestern Wildcats. In the week 8 NCAA match, the Buckeyes never wasted their chances and demolished the Wildcats. The final score was 3-52 in favor of the Buckeyes.
Chris Olave was the first player to score during the game after receiving a pass from Justin Fields. He proceeded to get a touchdown that pushed the Buckeyes to the lead. Later on, Charlie Kuhbander scored a field goal from 33 yards out for the Wildcats.
Three touchdowns and a field goal in the second quarter helped the Buckeyes to establish a wider-margin lead. J.K Dobbins scored two of the touchdowns while Chris Olave scored the other one. Blake Haubeil scored the field goal from 55 yards out.
Austin Mack scored a touchdown in the third quarter of the game. He had received a pass from Justin Fields.
Two touchdowns in the last quarter helped the visitors to seal their win in the final quarter. Jeremy and Master Teague III were the scorers of the touchdowns. The Buckeyes host the Wisconsin Badgers in their next match. Stay tuned for their match highlights.
