After winning their last match on the road, the Ohio State Buckeyes maintained their perfect season record. For their week 13 NCAA game, they faced the Nittany Lions from Penn State University. The thrilling match ended in yet another win for the Buckeyes. The final score was 28-17.
Blake Haubeil made an excellent kick in the opening minutes of the game. J.K. Dobbins caught it marvelously and proceeded to get a touchdown. This was the first scoring action of the match and no other team scored again during the first quarter.
In a repeat of the events of the first quarter J.K. Dobbins got another touchdown. He had caught the ball after Haubeil’s kick. This ensured that the Buckeyes had doubled their lead while the visitors had not yet scored.
The visitors got all their points during the third quarter of the game. Journey and Will each got a touchdown. Then, Jake Pinegar scored a 42-yard field goal. However, earlier on, Hill had scored a touchdown for the hosts to ensure that they maintained a lead.
Chris Olave scored the last touchdown of the game for the hosts. Next week, the Buckeyes play the Wolverines at Michigan University. Stay tuned to know how their match will end.
