The Iowa Hawkeyes completely demolished the USC Trojans when the two teams met for the Holiday bowl. Iowa Hawkeyes, who have been on massive form this season continued to put up a great show and win the match. They beat the Trojans 49-24.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. was the first player to score during the match during the early minutes. He put the Hawkeyes ahead but the Trojans equalized before the quarter ended. This was through Drake London’s massive effort to get a great touchdown.
The Hawkeyes got three marvelous touchdowns during the second quarter while the Trojans only got one and a field goal. Ihmir Smith-Marsette scored all the three touchdowns for the Iowa team. Vavae scored the one for the Trojans. Chase McGrath scored the 32-yard field goal.
Stephen Carr scored a touchdown for the Trojans during the third quarter of the game. Later on, Tyler Goodson scored a touchdown on the other end zone for the Hawkeyes.
Brandon and Nick each got a touchdown for the Hawkeyes to seal their win in the final quarter of the game. The Pittsburg Panthers and the Eastern Michigan Eagles faced off for the Quick Lane bowl. Get the highlights of their game in the next post.
