The Las Vegas Bowl was the first college football bowl to be played out last Sunday. It pitted the Washington Huskies against the Boise State Broncos. The Washington Huskies put up an incredible performance and were able to win the match. The final score was 38-7.
Andre Baccellia scored the first touchdown of the game. This was after receiving a pass from Jacob Eason who had caught Peyton Henry’s kick. The touchdown allowed the Huskies to go in front and set themselves up for a win.
The Huskies got a touchdown and a field goal during the second quarter to open up the gap at the front. Salvon Ahmed scored the touchdown. Peyton Henry scored the field goal from 32 yards out.
The Broncos finally got on the score-line during the third quarter of the game. This was courtesy of George Holani’s incredible touchdown. However, Richard Newton had scored a touchdown earlier on for the Huskies.
Two touchdowns in the final quarter sealed the win for the Washington Huskies. Terrell and Salvon were the scorers. The New Orleans bowl was also played last Sunday. Stay tuned for the highlights of that game.
