On the second day of the New Year, the Nevada Wolf Pack and the Ohio Bobcats faced off for the Potato bowl. It was a thrilling game which saw the Ohio team get the win. After putting up a gallant show, they won the match with a score of 21-30.

Quarter 1

Brandon Talton scored a 51-yard field goal during the opening minutes of the match. This allowed the Wolf Pack to take the lead. Later on, Louie Zervos scored a 29-yard field goal for the Bobcats to ensure that that first quarter ended in a draw.  

Quarter 2

The Bobcats got two touchdowns and a field goal during the second quarter to take the lead. Julian and Nathan each got a touchdown while Zervos scored the field goal from 33 yards out. Brandon scored two field goals for the Wolf Pack from 36 and 33 yards out later on.

Quarter 3

The Bobcats were the only scorers during the third quarter of the game. They got a touchdown and a field goal to increase their lead. Zervos scored the 26-yard field goal while Tuggle got the touchdown.  

Quarter 4

The Wolf Pack were the only scorers during the last quarter of the game. They got two touchdowns from Elijah and DeVonte but unfortunately could not manage a comeback. On Saturday, Southern Mississippi and Tulane faced off for the Armed Forces bowl. Stay tuned to get the highlights of their match.
