The Texas Longhorns and the Utah Utes met on New Year’s Eve for the Valero Alamo bowl. It was an entertaining encounter which saw the Texas University team take the day. They won the match by a score of 38-10.

Quarter 1

 Cameron Dicker was first to score. He got a 29-yard field goal during the early minutes to put the Longhorns ahead. No other player managed to score during the rest of the first quarter.

Quarter 2

The Longhorns also got the advantage during the second quarter of the game. A touchdown from Collin Johnson allowed them to increase their lead while keeping the Utes’ attackers at bay. This ensured that they widened the gap they had established after taking the lead.

Quarter 3

Two more touchdowns in the third quarter put the Longhorns on course to win the game easily. Ingram and Sam were the scorers. Jadon Redding scored a 32-yard field goal for the Utes.

Quarter 4

The Longhorns sealed their win with two more touchdowns in the final quarter. Ingram and Devin were the scorers. Damari Simpkins scored the first Utes’ touchdown. The Navy Midshipmen and the Kansas State Wildcats battled each other for the Liberty bowl. Catch the highlights of their game in the next post.
